Know your Limit by Temasek Polytechnic
Our project, ‘KNOW YOUR LIMIT’ main aim is to educated Temasek polytechnic students to know the long and short term consequences of binge drinking. This event also ties the relationship with Health Promotion Board “DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE” campaign.
Throughout the project, our aim is to increase the awareness of binge drinking among youth in Temasek Polytechnic, as youth nowadays come into contact with drinking due to a more open society. Not only youth start drinking at a early age they are also unaware of the health consequence of binge drinking.
During our project, “KNOW YOUR LIMIT”, we made use of the most worldwide advertising which is through FACEBOOK, promoting our booth that we are having in Temasek Polytechnic, not only will it be able to attract Temasek students, it will also be able to attract youth that is interested in this to visit our booth.
Not only putting this onto FACEBOOK, we also have brochures, pens, ez-link sticker and notebooks to be given to students who visit our booth and even took part in our activities. Ez link sticker was design by us on Binge drinking to help the youth to remember about the standard limit for different genders. Pens and notebooks have our project titles “KNOW YOUR LIMIT” so that students will be able to remember the information passed to them when they visit our booth. Posters is also placed around our booth so that students can also take a look while waiting for their turn. Games is also created to make it more fun to know about binge drinking.

To conclude everything, we will like to thank HPB for giving us this chance to make this program able to be held as what was plan. Through this project we have learn a lot, from planning a program to conducting it and also how we find our resources through a certain amount of money we have plan.
